Project Parlour / Share your current hobbies!

Hi hi hi!!
I have the attention span of a concussed fly, so I take up different hobbies pretty consistently.
When I have the time to go sit in some sun, I'm learning a bit of embroidery to keep my hands busy!
(I started last year technically, but I'm not very consistent about things... :'D)

The first is a kit from Jenny Blair, where I got the thread, needle, hoop, and design and just had to follow instructions - which is super great to learn the basics, but also holy moly is it boring! So it's still unfinished.
The second one is some freehand (you can tell, haha!) experiment on the inside of a bag I had to replace a zipper on, some days ago. They say practice makes perfect, so I guess I'll see

in another couple years or so, once I get around to doing another few of these

I need to get my hands on one of those pens that wash out in the water. Going completely blind without a ref was so much harder than I thought!

So anyways I'd love to see what you guys are up to in your free time these days! :3 Show me your latest passion projects!

Fun Fact: in forests, plants are connected to one another via the mycorrhizal network, aka this incredible net of roots and fungi! Plants are connected to this network and share water, carbon, nitrogen, and other nutrients. Plants who get more sun for example might give nutrients to others who live in the shade. This is how seedlings often survive!! There's mother trees, tall and mighty, who care for and give nutrients for the baby trees while they're too small to reach the sun.
